TL;DR

Streamlined documentation navigation by removing unused use cases and sections while updating card layouts and links.

What changed?

  • Removed payouts, payroll, and subscriptions use cases from the navigation menu
  • Eliminated the entire "Release Notes" tab and its associated pages
  • Added payment detection card to the payment processing demo page
  • Updated card layouts from 3-column to 2-column grid on the welcome page
  • Fixed broken API features link to point to the correct endpoint
  • Updated SDK legacy link to point to overview instead of migration guide

How to test?

  1. Navigate through the documentation to verify all links work correctly
  2. Check that the use cases section only shows payment detection, invoicing, and checkout
  3. Confirm the Release Notes tab no longer appears in the navigation
  4. Verify the welcome page displays cards in a 2-column layout
  5. Test that the API Features card links to /api-features/payment-types-overview

Why make this change?

This change focuses the documentation on the core supported use cases and removes incomplete or outdated sections, providing users with a cleaner navigation experience and ensuring all links point to existing content.

Updated the Use Cases navigation and entry-point cards to reflect only currently supported/visible content in Mintlify.
Removed hidden AI-only use-case pages (payouts, payroll, subscriptions) from docs.json, updated Payment Processing Demo to highlight payment-detection, invoicing, and checkout, and fixed broken welcome-page card links (API Features and SDK (Legacy)).
Also removed the Release Notes tab from navigation and dropped the release-notes card from the welcome page to match current migration scope.

  • Removed entire Release Notes tab and associated pages from navigation
  • Added Payment Detection card to payment processing demo page

  • Updated SDK Legacy link from /sdk-legacy/migration-guide to /sdk-legacy/overview
  • Changed welcome page card layout from 3-column to 2-column grid
  • Banner text still references "Release Notes" - should be updated to match removed navigation

Confidence Score: 4/5

  • Safe to merge with one minor inconsistency to address
  • All navigation changes are correctly implemented and links point to existing files. The only issue is the banner text still references Release Notes which was removed from navigation.
  • docs.json needs banner text updated to remove Release Notes reference
