Welcome to The AI Engineering Bootcamp v0.9. We are in Cohort 9, and we'll use #AIE9 to describe our cohort!

To prepare for Session 1, be sure that you have the following things completed:

- 🛹 Complete your Onboarding Call with our Student Success Manager, Coach Mark
- 📅 Follow the Cohort 9 Calendar to ensure you have access to our primary Zoom classroom and you when we hold office hours

- 🚀 Consider the importance of Building AND Sharing, as well as how it aligns with your goals.
- 🤓 Prepare to hit the ground running in Session 1 by reading the information available in

00_Quicklinks is your one-stop shop for all course materials, and our syllabus and detailed schedule will guide us through the course. Including:

When it comes to Discord, there is a lot to explore. However, if you're trying to get down to brass tacks for the course, focus on these aspects:

- Introductions (public - drop yours!)
- build-ship-share-🏗-🚢-🚀 (for when you've built and shipped and are ready to share)

- announcements (for instructor and peer support announcements)
- general (treat as cohort misc!)
- questions (use this channel to get your questions answered!)
- lounge (You can hang out with instructors, peer supporters, and other students!)
- office-hours (Join for office hours scheduled on the Cohort calendar)
🌐 Discord Community Rules
- Zero-tolerance policy for racist, sexist, homophobic, or otherwise prejudiced/discriminatory comments (including disrespectful remarks about race, religion, or political beliefs)
- No trolling, baiting, bad-faith discussions, or posting for shock value
- No spamming (text or voice) or screaming in voice chat
- Use push-to-talk if you have background noise
- No explicit NSFW content (porn, gore, etc.) in text, music bots, attachments/links, or profile pictures
- If you’re unsure whether something violates the rules, DM anyone with a
⚡AIMStag on their Discord profile to verify - No harassment, bullying, slurs, or aggressive behavior
