Hi there 👋

My name is Ioana, and I'm an Machine Learning and Computational Neuroscience scientist interested in inferring structure from high-dimensional data!

  • 🔭 I’m currently working on describing and modelling signals in the prefrontal cortex using high-dimensional decoders and recurrent neural networks here.

  • 🦾 I developed a neural decoder to drive prosthetic devices using Kalman filtering here

  • 🎓 During my Master's at Imperial College London I built an user-free algorithm that precisely localizes neurites across cortical layers in 3-D data sets code and paper.
