Languru - Pace University Capstone Project


Project Description

Languru is a mobile application that brings together the best of language and guru to help English learners improve their pronunciation and fluency. Using advanced voice recognition technology, Languru is able to break down the sound of a word and provide users with real-time feedback on their pronunciation accuracy.With its user-friendly interface and sophisticated voice recognition capabilities, Languru is the perfect solution for anyone looking to improve their English speaking skills. From voice recording to sound breakdown and pronunciation feedback. With machine learning algorithms, the accuracy of Languru's feedback is continually improved, making it the ultimate tool for anyone looking to master their English pronunciation and fluency.

Project Design

Our Languru app was built entirely in Javascript, For Cloud storage and authentication, we use AWS S3 and AWS Amplify. It will help enhance the app's security and easier to manage. For the front end of Languru is developed using React Native, a cross platform framework. This allows the app to maintain consistency and performance on both Android and iOS devices, reducing development efforts. Languru integrates with a public API for voice transcription, enabling users to practice pronunciation with real-time transcription feedback. This feature enhances the learning experience, allowing users to visualize their spoken words and improve their language skills effectively.
