Hi there, I'm Gabriel Penedo Priante 👋

I am currently finishing up my Master of Quantitative Economics at the University of Pittsburgh. My academic journey has given me a strong foundation in economic theory, quantitative research, and data analytics. Alongside my studies, I'm applying these skills professionally as a Data Consultant at Pitt and as an Applied Data Scientist & Project Lead at Frontline Gig.

🌱 What I'm Working On

  • SHRS Dashboard — Building a dashboard for the School of Health and Rehabilitation Sciences at Pitt as part of my Data Consultant role.
  • Frontline Gig — Supporting neighborhood inspection and greening projects in Pittsburgh as an Applied Data Scientist. My work focuses on turning inspection and field data into operational insights, improving 311 reporting workflows, refining tree count algorithms, and leveraging drones, GIS, and LLMs to deliver more actionable outputs.
  • EnviroEcon — An ongoing project exploring the intersections of environmental and economic data.
