soepy

soepy is an open-source Python package for the simulation and estimation of a dynamic model of human capital accumulation tailored to the German Socio-Economic Panel (SOEP). soepy provides the model code to Biased Wage Expectations and Female Labor Supply. You can find the most recent version of the paper here. The model builds on the seminal paper by Blundell & al. (2016) cited below.
