The resource manager does a much better job at distributing cores than whatever it is we are doing. And running multiple processes per node is not uncommon these days.
#515 is two years and it seems to be an intractable problem. @therault has at least one recent example where the forced binding to the same cores became a footgun for PaRSEC. We can re-enable the binding once someone comes up with a solution but until then we should play nice.
