I’m Daksh – a favorite hooman of 2 dogs 🐕🐕, a freelance software engineer and UI/UX + visual designer (yes, I do both — call me a design engineer or a full-stack designer, I love both!).
I like building things end to end. Sometimes that means designing clean, human interfaces. Other times it’s writing Python backends, wiring up APIs, automations, or figuring out how a product should actually work (aka design thinking).
Over the last few years, I’ve worked with early-stage startups, nonprofits, and tech communities, helping them design better systems, ship usable products, and make complex ideas feel simple. My work usually sits at the intersection of backend systems, frontend, AI tools, and product design.
I also care deeply about open source and community. I organize PyDelhi, help with EuroPython, PyCon India and Django India.
Outside of work, you’ll usually find me:
- hosting Python meetups
- reading & writing about psychology, philosophy, and people
- playing with dogs
If you like talking devtools, design systems, Python, or just good ideas — feel free to reach out.
PS. I write occasionally at daksh777.substack.com — DMs are always open if something resonates.
