What is the actual standard? #42

@michaelbjames

Description

@michaelbjames

The README has lots of information about why the standard exists, why it should exist, how to use it, and more. However, there is no information about what the style actually is. It's was less appealing to subscribe to a mystery style than one I know about.

Expectations:

  • I expected to find a list of examples of good and bad style on the README or in a human-readable format.
  • I also expected to see a list of what the rules are for the style (e.g., 80 character column limit) in lieu of examples.
  • I also would have liked to see explanations of each style choice for my own edification and to evangelize the style for others.

What I see:
The README has no examples, or explanation for any of the rules.
