How do I define interrupt register with mask

Hi,

I'm trying to define an interrupt register with mask enabled as below and I see below compilation error.
I'm having difficulties in defining mask property. Help is appreciated.

    // -> Sample INT (Interrupt) register with multiple fields
    reg {
       desc = "Interrupt register";
       default intr;
       default stickybit;

       field {
           desc = "INTR field";
           mask = true;

Error:

The mask property accepts a reference to a vector component (field or signal), where a value of 1 disables the interrupt from propagating out from the flag.

Usually this is in the form of a different register that controls masking. For example:

    desc = "Interrupt register";
    default intr;
    default stickybit;

    field {
        desc = "INTR field";
    } intr_field1[0:0];
} sample_reg_intr;

reg {
    field {
        desc = "Set to 1 to disable intr_field1";
        sw = rw;
        hw = na;
    } mask_field1[0:0] = 0;
} mask_reg;

sample_reg_intr.intr_field1->mask = mask_reg.mask_field1;

Oh my mistake. I had meant to remove that line from the example. I have edited the comment and corrected it.

Hi,

How do I set posedge detection for an interrupt register?

reg {
    desc = "Interrupt register";
    default intr;
    default stickybit;
    default posedge;

    field {
        desc = "INTR field";
    } intr_field1[0:0];
} sample_reg_intr;

If I try above, I get below compilation error.

error: missing ID at ';'
default posedge;

See section 9.9 in the spec:

posedge is a modifier for the intr property, so you would do:

default posedge intr;
