Improve your software architecture doc to reach more developers #19

Hi! 3 years without any doc updates and no technical doc :(
This would be nice if people can write some technical documents on how Dtube is implemented, how it is working, write some UML diag like classes diagrams, state machine, sequence diag, doc how sub-repositories are plugged ... even adding more comments inside the code would help :)
I learned a little IPFS, and I'm a C++ guy not a JS/web dev so entering this kind of project is difficult for me without some doc telling me what to do for diving inside a such huge project. As consequence, I'm interesting to help but at the same time I cannot technically help.
Some time ago we tried to make some distributed network application https://github.com/stigmee, but the project has aborted due to lack of developers and because the team were not interested in writing the software architecture, so we could not dev something we could not understand. On my side, I tried to make the most doc possible to get new devs to contribute, but the project collapsed because the team collapsed. Anyway, I cannot figure out starting project without software architecture.
