image uploader for comments #1994
Description
We don't want to display images in comments, but sometimes people want to use images when writing comments. Right now, they have to upload those images somewhere and fetch the link to put in the comment. Can we streamline this by providing some sort of hook for the image uploader, with the resulting markdown being a link not an embed?
Comments do not have any formatting tools now, and I don't think we want the full post treatment for comments, so we'd need to figure out how to expose such a path in the UI.
