on Back key Press from Soft Keyboard tag is not removed?

by using your nice library, can you plz let me know, how to delete the tag from the back(delete) press on a SoftKeyboard (Android OnScreen Keyboard)?
its deleted only by touch any specific tag, but I want to delete tag by back press button on a soft keyboard.

Fork the library, Override method 'onKeyPreIme()' in TagsEditText.java

       @Override
    public boolean onKeyPreIme(int keyCode, KeyEvent event) {
        if (keyCode == KeyEvent.KEYCODE_BACK && isPopupShowing()) {
            InputMethodManager inputManager = (InputMethodManager) getContext().getSystemService(Context.INPUT_METHOD_SERVICE);

            if(inputManager.hideSoftInputFromWindow(findFocus().getWindowToken(),
                    InputMethodManager.HIDE_NOT_ALWAYS)){
                return true;
            }
        }
        return super.onKeyPreIme(keyCode, event);
    }
