Description
Animations and videos may also need translations. An "animated note" will store an additional timestamp and duration and only be shown during these times. It will also always be on and show the text bubble, since it might be annoying to constantly pause to drag over the note boxes.
I have also considered WebVTT subtitles, however this wouldn't work well in practice since the videos will have burned in subtitles (we don't even support displaying a separate subtitle track). It will also only work for videos and not animations. What we could do is add some sort of automatic WebVTT to notes converter that creates notes according to the timestamps in the VTT near the bottom of the video (where the subtitles would normally be shown).
All in a all, this is a fairly difficult feature (we've pretty much done all the easy things so only hard things are left)...
