LFRic Apps Pre-release Testing vn3.1

Hello

Please test the latest changes on LFRic Apps main with the latest changes in all the repositories listed in dependencies.yaml. This can be done by either:

• updating the ref: for each repository in the above file to main
  OR
• running the rose stem test suite with the -S USE_HEADS=true flag.

Please note that there may be small further changes in these repositories during the testing period.
