[BUG] List of new CGI related bugs

Here is the list of known bugs introduced by our recent lazy PR.

• this is the most concerning one, sometimes we seem to leave behind zombie processes again? Probably an exception is catched too early in the loop somewhere
• Need to review the definition of each env variable.
