In the past, I have made use of the Grove ecosystem for quickly and reliably adding sensors and actuators to my projects. They also have an adapter cable to connect to the Adafruit STEMMA ecosystem. What are your thoughts on this/these technologies?

Not sure whether this is relevant for our target audience, but I myself am easily drawn to attractive "branding". I did a little brainstorm on making the cartridge/hardware concept more 'fun and cool', and came up with something like this:
