How can we enter the mobile space - if we cannot use plugin what can we use?

We want to influence user behaviour and our research has shown that lecturing does not work and plugins have a  limited audience because they need to be downloaded to a targeted browser by someone resembling the personas we described.

This issue is to investigate alternative technical platforms and document them for discussion in meetings.
