YouTube Video not embedding in “Video” tab + request for automatic thumbnail (featured image) solution

In the “Video” tab of GeoDirectory listings, YouTube URLs are no longer embedding correctly — only plain text links appear instead of the video player. This issue occurs with all common YouTube URL formats (youtu.be, watch?v=, and embed).

Additionally, it would be very useful to have an option or built-in feature to automatically fetch and set the YouTube video thumbnail as the listing’s featured image (if none exists).

Use Case:

• Ensures every listing with a video has a proper preview image (for archive cards, map popups, etc.)

• Improves presentation and UX consistency for video-enhanced listings

Proposed Enhancements:

• Fix or restore oEmbed handling in the “Video” tab so YouTube links embed properly.

Can you clarify with setup on our test site?

I checked video and post image and both worked for embed video.
